I am one of the English teachers, but am also teaching Portuguese. I am a native Brazilian, but have moved around over the years. I lived in the United States for a few years and then moved to London, UK. Most recently I relocated to Finland, and plan to stay here for the time being.
I have taught English in several private schools in Brazil, as well as in Finland, and during this time I practised many methodologies with people from very different backgrounds. My students have varied from beginner to advanced, but the one factor that never changes is - with well prepared material, learning can be so much more rewarding, not to mention entertaining! I always wish to know my students well, so that I can apply a more individual method to each person.
It is also of importance to me, to know what kind of situation the student will emerge in, in English or Portuguese, so that a specific strong vocabulary can be developed to suit. Looking forward to meeting you!
